The challenge
What was the contest?
SLTL Group was looking for a new name for its Medical Division. Anyone with a creative idea had the chance to make an impact — candidates submitted a unique name, added an optional logo and a brief explanation, and stood a chance to win exciting rewards.
Step 01
The Brand Name
Candidates were asked to come up with a unique and memorable brand name — a random or coined (non-dictionary) word, for example Apple, Google, Urban Monkey, or Nano Banana, that didn't have to relate to medical devices. Entrants were asked to check that the .com domain was available on GoDaddy before submitting.
Step 02
The Logo
Entrants created a logo to match their brand name, using any design tool or a hand-drawn concept.
Step 03
The Explanation
Candidates told us the story behind their entry — briefly explaining the meaning of their brand name and logo, and why it represented SLTL Medical.
Step 04
Upload & Submission
Entrants completed the submission form, uploaded their files, and submitted their entry before the deadline.

Medical Division
A new mission began.
SLTL Medical launched — bringing precision manufacturing into cardiovascular care with coronary stents and balloon catheters.
2026
The Naming Contest
A new identity was written.
After 18 years of saving lives, the Medical Division asked for a name worthy of its work — and hundreds of you answered the call. Submissions have now closed, and the winning name will be announced soon.

Everyone was welcome to participate. There were no restrictions based on profession, education, or industry experience.
There was no limit. Entrants could submit as many name ideas as they liked — each one went in as a separate entry, so many participants explored more than one direction.
Both were completely optional. The name was what we judged. Entrants who included a tagline or a rough logo idea — even a sketch — helped us see their thinking.
Winners will be contacted directly by email now that submissions have closed. Shortlisted names may also be featured on SLTL's social channels — with permission.
Yes. International student entries were welcome. PPI offers and gift fulfilment may vary by region — we'll coordinate directly with winners.
By submitting, entrants agreed that if their name was selected, the rights would transfer to SLTL Medical for use as the division's identity. Non-winning entries remain with their authors.
Yes — due to strong interest and requests from participants, the registration deadline was extended once to give everyone more time to complete their entries. Submissions are now closed for good, and no further extensions will be made.
